This month, we’re giving a two-for-one Player Spotlight to two of the most dedicated, consistent, and flat-out awesome players in the game: Husband and wife - Joel and Nikki Smith from Henning, MN. With over 2,400 tournaments played and a jaw-dropping 225,000+ combined points, they’re a power couple to rave about. Oh—and did we mention? Joel is a TWO-TIME National Champion!

These two are pure poker passion. They’ve both hit the max 40,000 stack for the Royal Court National Championship—Nikki would’ve brought NINE stacks if we didn’t cap it! Joel’s locked in with six strong stacks. Both Nikki and Joel have already qualified with the max of 40,000 for the Clash of Kings & Queens National Championship! They’re at the tables four nights a week, hosting games, building community, and somehow never missing a Nationals—even when it lands on Nikki’s birthday!
