Triumphant Night at FPN Winter Season with Record Maverick Turnout

The FPN Winter Season reached new heights on Tuesday the 16th, marked by the largest gathering of Mavericks to date. A total of 20 players, including the newest contender, Cameron Friske, converged with a singular goal – victory.

With two full tables, the atmosphere was charged with intensity. As the evening progressed into the third game, the prospects for the night's winner became uncertain. Candace Sutter and Brandon Melock found themselves tied for the top spot, while four other players were within two points. Despite Candace's valiant effort, she was busted midway, leaving Brandon as the frontrunner. In a decisive move, Brandon secured victory in the third game, clinching the accolades.

For his outstanding performance, Brandon was rewarded with a $25 gift card from The Mayfield Tavern, a seat in April's Tournament of Champions, and an entry into the Free Poker Network's Weekly "Step in the Ring" online qualifier tournament.

The second-place honor went to Michael Soper, while Candace Sutter claimed a respectable third place. Both players earned coveted seats in the weekly qualifier.

Expressing gratitude, the Maverick Poker League acknowledged the overwhelming support received. The participation of 20 players on this night was especially heartening for a relatively new league, and the organizers extended their appreciation to all participants.

The FPN Winter Season continues to be a platform where poker enthusiasts gather, compete, and celebrate the spirit of the game. As the league grows, so does the excitement, promising more thrilling nights and memorable victories.
