Record-Breaking Night at The Mayfield Tavern as 26 Mavericks Hit the Felt!

The Mayfield Tavern was busting at the seams Tuesday night as a record 26 Mavericks, including newcomer Jim McQueen, showed up for an action-packed night of Free Poker Network play! With four alternates waiting in the wings, the action was hot and heavy from the very start.

Game One: A Strong Start

The first round saw impressive play from all corners, with James Ramsey and returning player Tyler Macsuga securing table wins. However, Scott Sutter and Nancy Petermann finished strong in second place, proving that consistency would be key on a night with this many players.

Game Two: The Ladies Take Charge

The second game kept the excitement rolling as two of our talented female players, Amanda Dudek and Nancy Petermann, claimed victories at their tables. As the points were tallied, a clear battle for the top emerged:

• Tyler Macsuga and Nancy Petermann sat at 25 points each, looking nearly unstoppable.
• Amanda Dudek was the closest challenger with 20 points heading into the final game.

Game Three: The Shake-Up

As the final game unfolded, the leaderboard took an unexpected turn. Tyler Macsuga was the first to bow out at his table, opening the door for others to make their move. Nancy Petermann held on longer, surviving until her table had just four players remaining.

Meanwhile, James Ramsey and Candace Sutter secured table wins, while Jason Owen and Lew Iler put up strong performances that shook up the final standings.
