Players from Across the Trax Make News
Free Poker Network was excited to hear the news that players from Across the Trax Poker League were recently featured in their local newspaper after making a strong showing on the national stage in Las Vegas!
Across the Trax Poker League showed exactly what the FPN pathway is all about, as several of their players traveled to Las Vegas and delivered outstanding performances in our national events.
Qualifying through consistent league play and season-long point accumulation, Russ Neil, Brad Thurnagle, Alex Thurnagle, Tom Reeves, and Bill and Margaret Goude proudly represented their league during the Free Poker Network National Championship at the Golden Nugget in downtown Las Vegas.
Russ Neil continues to be a great example of consistency and dedication, making his fourth trip to FPN Nationals. Competing in fields that included hundreds of players from across the country, the Across the Trax group proved they belonged among the best. Alex Thurnagle turned in a standout result, finishing in the top 15 percent of his event on January 7.
Alex’s journey was especially impressive, as he did not have a seat before heading to Las Vegas, but was able to qualify through the Mega Qualifier to earn his way into the National Championship.
Russ Neil and Al Burh also teamed up to compete in the Tag Team event, finishing 8th place while playing on the feature table, allowing friends and league members back home to watch and cheer them on.
For Bill and Margaret Goude, the trip marked their first Free Poker Network national experience, and they embraced the opportunity. Their focus, determination, and sportsmanship reflected the values Free Poker Network strives to foster in every league across our network.
Seeing players from local venues step onto a streamed national stage and compete at a high level is exactly why Free Poker Network exists. These successes highlight how our leagues prepare players not only to enjoy the game, but to grow, improve, and chase bigger goals.
Congratulations to all of the Across the Trax players who represented Free Poker Network in Las Vegas. We’re proud of your accomplishments and excited to see what’s next as you continue your journey through the FPN family. ♠️
