The night kicked off with Lewis Iler and Amber Soper making strong opening statements, each securing table wins in Game One. But Lucas McEvoy, returning to the Mavericks’ arena, and Jim Elwart refused to be overshadowed, both finishing second at their tables and keeping themselves in striking distance.
