David Verwijs Captures Bar Championship

David Verwijs took down the Bar Championship for Danny's Dugout in Sauk Rapids MN!

With the win, David earned a seat in Friday's Step In The Ring Nat'l Championship Main Event, the beautiful Bar Championship Trophy, plus $1,000 cash!

The final table was dominated by players from Minnesota, all players on the final table earned a seat and/or padded their stack on Friday's National Championship Main Event.

In this event we saw former National Champions Joel Smith and Jimmy Miles seated next to each other, but not for long. Joel sent Jimmy to the rail in a blind on blind crime hand, action had folded around with Joel waking up to AQ in the small blind and Jimmy with KQ. Action eliminated Jimmy Miles. We look forward to seeing both of these former Nat'l Champs go at it again!

There is now a 10-way tie for the Top Contender prize at 60k starting stacks. Tomorrow's MEGA qualifier and TAG TEAM Championship will add more seats and chips for players vying for the Grand Prizes up for grabs!
