An Epic Night of Maverick Poker at The Mayfield Tavern!

It was one of the most highly competitive nights in recent memory as 16 players gathered at The Mayfield Tavern for a thrilling evening of Maverick Poker. Even though a few regulars were away due to vacations and work, the return of Michael Pjeter—back from a month of exploring the West—added excitement to the night.

From the get-go, it looked like James Ramsey was on a mission. He dominated his first table in Game 1, looking poised to sweep the competition. However, Wesley Jones matched Ramsey's intensity by taking down his table as well, setting the stage for what would be a wild ride.

Game 2 flipped the script, with two new winners emerging: Amanda Dudek and "Coop." Their victories added to the tension and helped set up one of the tightest final games in recent league memory.

Heading into the third and final game, Cliff Jones held a narrow lead after two second-place finishes, but ten other Mavericks were within just 4 points of his top spot, creating an intense showdown. As the dust finally settled, Ashton Groth made a powerful push by winning his table in Game 3. Cliff, however, did exactly what he needed to, securing a second-place finish at his table and clinching the win for the night.

When the points were tallied, Cliff Jones stood atop the leaderboard as the night's winner. Amanda Dudek came close but ultimately finished in a strong second place. With his Game 3 victory, Ashton Groth secured third.

As for the overall standings in the FPN Fall Season, Candace Sutter continues to lead the way, followed closely by Mike Swain, Jim Elwart, Mike Baker, and Cliff Jones rounding out the top five.
