Step in the Ring Nat'l Qualifier #1 Results

FPN's Step In The Ring National Championship Series at the Golden Nugget is officially underway with results from the Early Bird qualifier. 99 contenders stepped up to take a shot at winning a seat in Friday's Main Event, or pad their existing stack with another 20k in chips. 15 players emerged victorious, not only securing their buy-in back, but also bagging 20k chips towards their starting stacks for Friday's highly anticipated Main Event where three (3) main event $12,500 poker packages will be awarded plus cash to the top 36 players.

$1,500 in Mystery Bounties were added in this qualifier. Bob Schreiner found himself on the bubble, but in a twist of fate he clinched the top cash bounty of $500!.

Former Nat'l Champ Christopher Waszczyck pulled a direct qualifier bounty worth a seat and 10k extra chips for Friday's Main Event.

As the dust settles on qualifier number one, anticipation mounts for the battles yet to come.
