Oliver Frusa Takes down the 33 player field for a seat at the FPN 100K Vegas Championship

It was a spirited night at Distill-A Local Bar on American Pacific Dr. in Henderson, NV. 33 players gathered with the hopes of earning a seat to the championship at the Golden Nugget, Las Vegas, January 7th, 2024.

It was a fun filled, yet stressful journey for a guy who was, at one point down to 3 BB, only to scratch and claw his way back to the final table and make it to the Top 3. Evelyn Niehaus was the chip leader going into the Final 3 and new-comer Jyohan Diaz, as well as Oliver were relatively short-stacked. Jyohan held on for as long as possible but succombed to the continual pressure finishing 3rd overall for the night. Not too bad for a first time player in Misfits Poker. Oliver was once again the short stack going heads up against Evelyn, and yet through it all, he persevered and completed the night with a comeback win. Congrats Oliver on earning your seat and to Evelyn and Jyohan for making it an exciting Top 3 race. We'll look forward to seeing eveyone back here at Distill next week for more great poker action.
