Sheila Kinsburgy from Hammond, WI was recently one of the big 10 winners in Las Vegas. Sheila competed in the Sin City Showdown National Championship over the fourth of July weekend. There were approximately 75 players from around the United States that arrived at the Smoke Ranch Junction in Las Vegas. Sheila placed in the top 10 to win herself an entry into the WSOP event #54 the following day. Way to go Sheila!
It was definitely Ladies' Nights at Don's Market in Franksville, WI. Only 6 of the 26 players were women, but two are going to Nationals. Joyce Birkenmeyer (Paradise Lanes - pitctured left) took first place and Annie Esser (Pitcher's Pub) finished second.

Mark Anderson was the lucky winner in the perfect attendance drawing for April. Mark played all 4 Thursdays in April at JJ's Outpost Bar & Grill in New Richmond, Wisconsin making him eligible for the drawing. April's winner receives a special gift: an iPad valued at $500! Congrats to Mark (who also qualified in the standings for April). The next perfect attendance drawing for May will be held in the first week of June.
The Western Wisconsin State Finals were held this past weekend (Saturday the 14th) at the Outer Limits Bar and Grill in New Richmond WI. The 22 players in attendance were SUPER EXCITED to hear about the runner up receiving an invitation to the National Finals, thus, giving each of them a one in ten shot at headed to VEGAS this July.

The Sin City Showdown Regional Playoffs are this weekend in Wisconsin. The Eastern side of the state will be playing at Paradise Lanes this Sunday the 10th at 1pm, while at the exact same time and day the Western side of the state will be facing off at JJ's Outpost.
There have been some major changes for the state of Wisconsin for the state championship. Instead of combining both sides of the state there will be two seperate state playoffs one for the East side and one for the West. The West side of the state will still be on Saturday May 14th starting at noon. The East side is in the works and stay tuned for the latest updates.
