Tyler Oberbroekling who hasn't played in the league in 3 years found himself looking for a place to spend the night because he would be joining the field of players trying to find their golden ticket to Vegas.

Several South Dakota players somehow made it out of Sioux Falls during the blizzard to compete in Free Poker Network’s “Cash King” National Championship in Las Vegas. Four Sioux Falls regional players made the final table, Ben Tesch representing the Thirsty Duck in Sioux Falls, Mike Chilarski from Vermillon Eagles Club, Terry Wililams and Andrew Roberson both from Mojo’s in Yankton combined to win $8,250 in cash. Andrew Roberson took 3rd place and won $5,000. The top prize was $25,000, which went to Bob Tweten from Grand Forks, ND.
Andrew Roberson seemed to be on track to take the whole thing down. Earlier in the weekend, his name was randomly drawn to play poker pro and 3-time WSOP bracelet winner Dutch Boyd in a headsup match. Roberson won. He received a hundred dollar bill and a signed book from Dutch Boyd. At the final table, Roberson came close but luck favored eventual winner Bob Tweten from Grand Forks. Bob could not miss and gained a huge chip advantage down the stretch that Roberson could not overcome.
