Husband/Wife Take Down PA
Geoff and Donna Schutzbank (sitting) have done it again in Pennsylvania. Both have qualified for the National Championship recently during the PA State Championship. They finished one and two respectively. This is the second time they have been able to accomplish this. Back in the Poker Pro promotion they were able to finish first and second as well.
Carl Humenik Wins in Pennsylvania Again
Carl Humenik (pictured front row, far left) from Langhorn, Pennsylvania took down the Pennsylvania Vegas or Bust State Championship to win his was to the National Championship on July 4th. Carl will receive airfare allowance and a free hotel stay at Hooters Casino for his victory. However, Carl is no stranger to the National Championship as he was the Pennsylvania State Champion in the Sin City Showdown promotion as well. Coming in second was William Gill Jr. who also locked down his spot at the Vegas or Bust National Championship. Good job guys!
Kim Soley Wins Aug Perfect Attendance
Kim Soley from the Roadhouse Inn in Newportsville, PA was drawn for the perfect attendance for the month of August. Kim has won herself a buy-in of a $120 to her local casino. We look forward to hearing if she can win a bunch of cash on her freeroll, good luck Kim!
Husband & Wife Win PA State Championship
Geoff and Donna Schutzbank both out of the Roadhouse Inn, recently took first and second at the PA State Championship to win their way to Vegas and the Poker Pro National Championship. Geoff was the eventual winner, but both are qualified and I'm sure they will be sharing the package they have just won. Way to go guys!
Carl Humenik First Ever PA Champ!
A BIG congratulations goes out to Carl Humenik from Langhorn, PA. Carl is the first ever Pennsylvania Free Poker Network Champion! Not only did Carl win a trip to compete in the National Championship in Las Vegas, Carl played some excellent poker and finished in the top 10 at the FPN National Championship. For his efforts Carl won a seat in the World Series of Poker event #54. Unfortunately the poker gods were not as kind the following day, but it was still a great experience. Way to go Carl!
